Falmer Pond restoration project

Since 2023, we've worked with South Downs National Park Authority, local residents, Falmer Parish Council, and the Friends of Falmer Pond to develop plans to restore Falmer Pond.

Together, we’ve secured funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to help deliver this project.

Share your views and feedback

In phase 1 of this project, we're looking to hear from you about your relationship and connection to Falmer Pond.

In phase 2, we'll share final design proposals and would like your feedback before we submit a planning application. This engagement is open to everyone, including residents, visitors and local organisations.

The proposals aim to:

• improve the pond’s historic setting
• improve water quality
• enhance wildlife and biodiversity
