Sexual Health Strategy

Improving sexual health and reproductive health in Brighton & Hove

We want to hear your views on sexual health and reproductive health in Brighton & Hove.

We are developing a new Sexual Health Strategy for 2025 - 2030. This strategy will guide how we support people’s sexual health and reproductive health across the city. To make sure it reflects what local people need, we’d like your feedback.

You can read the draft strategy and then share your thoughts by completing the online survey below. If you need a paper copy or a different format, please contact us at publichealth@brighton-hove.gov.uk

Why does this matter?

Sexual health and reproductive health are a key part of our overall wellbeing. In Brighton & Hove, we still face challenges in this area, and some communities are more affected than others. These issues can lead to serious health, social, and financial problems. That’s why it’s important we get this strategy right.

What happens next?

The survey will be open for 6 weeks. After that, we’ll review all the feedback and use it to help shape the final version of the strategy. Once approved by the council, it will be published on our website. We will also make a plan to put it into action.
