Safer, Better Streets - Court Farm Road (west of Nevill Close)
We’re looking to improve infrastructure to prevent speeding in Court Farm Road.
Every year we assess requests for safety improvements all over the city, using our 'Safer, Better Streets’ assessment process.
The proposed improvements include:
- a small buildout with a cycle filter on the north side of the road
- new signage and give way markings to help manage traffic flow and slow vehicles as they approach

Consultation results
Thank you for participating in our consultation, local feedback is paramount to shaping our schemes.
Several strong themes emerged from this consultation, from concerns about traffic flow down Court Farm Rd to potential issues around access to private driveways. On the whole, we found the scheme does not have local resident support, so a decision has been made to listen to your feedback and halt the project at this stage.
This project will not proceed to construction.
Thank you for your engagement, it is vital to advance the projects people deem to be truly important.
