Safer, Better Streets - Court Farm Road (west of Nevill Close)

We’re looking to improve infrastructure to prevent speeding in Court Farm Road.

Every year we assess requests for safety improvements all over the city, using our 'Safer, Better Streets’ assessment process.

The proposed improvements include:

  • a small buildout with a cycle filter on the north side of the road
  • new signage and give way markings to help manage traffic flow and slow vehicles as they approach

Information

10 January 2026 - 12 January 2026

This design is intended to improve safety on Court Farm Road by reducing speeding. We reviewed this site after receiving concerns, especially around school drop off and pick up times.

The proposed changes will help manage traffic flow and slow vehicle speeds, making the road safer for everyone, particularly vulnerable users.

We expect construction to start in 2026 and will share more details closer to the time.
