Research survey

Please complete our Public Health research survey and stocktake.

All of us have a role to play in ensuring that we make good evidence-informed decisions and many of us have an active role in conducting and using research.

The results of the survey will allow us to identify and share training and development opportunities and the tools and resources we need to strengthen our research and use of data and evidence.

The survey is anonymous and responses will be grouped together with others in your team, so please answer as honestly as you can!

Where responses may used in future work, they will not contain any identifying information.

You're viewing real-time data. Participant counts are continuously updated for administrators. Please note that regular users see cached data, which may result in slight differences in the numbers.

Why we're launching the survey

All of us have a role to play in ensuring that we make good evidence-informed decisions and many of us have an active role in conducting and using research.

The results of the survey will allow us to share relevant training and development opportunities and the tools and resources we need to strengthen our research and use of data and evidence.

Objectives

  • to gather information on research understanding, engagement and barriers across the Public Health team
  • to capture past/current research activities across Public Health (survey and stocktake)
  • to use the survey and stocktake to establish research active baseline measures

We'll feedback the results of the survey and stocktake in the form of a report summary.

Read more about how other local authorities are gathering information to understand research strengths and needs within their organisations.

If you have any questions, please contact Tara Cahill or Louise Knight.

The survey closes on the 31st January 2025
