We’re asking for your views on a proposed Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) about vehicles entering open public spaces without permission across Brighton & Hove.

During a review, concerns were raised about vehicles being driven onto open public spaces without permission, causing obstruction, nuisance, and damage.

We’re now asking for your views on whether restrictions should be introduced.

What is this PSPO about?

The proposed PSPO would stop vehicles from entering open public spaces without permission across Brighton & Hove.

The aim is to help the council deal with problems caused by vehicles being driven onto these spaces, such as damage, obstruction, and nuisance to others.

Failure to comply

The PSPO would stop vehicles from entering open public spaces without permission.

If someone breaks this rule, they may get a £100 fine.
