Inequality and life chances review in Brighton & Hove

Many people in Brighton & Hove continue to face unequal life chances. These gaps are long‑standing, and real change depends on listening to the people most affected and working together on what needs to be different.

This survey has been created by an independent panel of volunteer residents with lived experience of inequality in Brighton & Hove.

The panel want to hear directly from people across the city to help shape fairer opportunities for everyone.

Learning from your experience

Communities across Brighton & Hove have knowledge, skills and ideas that often go unheard. We want to learn from your experiences and find out:

  • what already helps
  • what isn’t working
  • what gives hope
  • what could help everyone thrive

Every voice matters

There are no right or wrong answers. Share as much or as little as you want. The panel will review all responses and use them to develop recommendations for making life fairer across the city.
