Share your thoughts on Pride events in Brighton & Hove
We want to continue to support Pride to be as inclusive, accessible and successful as it can be for many years to come while balancing the impact and benefits for residents, visitors and businesses in the city.
Preparation for Pride in August is already well underway, and now we want to look ahead to events in 2025 and beyond.
We want to hear your views on how the Pride weekend affects you, what you think of the organised events and other activities that take place in the city. We also want to get a clear understanding of how you would like to see Pride celebrations develop in the future.
The survey is open until 30 June and should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
More information
In December 2023, we gave consent for Brighton & Hove Pride CIC to deliver the three key events of the citywide Pride celebrations for the next 5 years. As part of giving consent, we agreed to reach out to residents to more fully understand how the Pride weekend is perceived by different people in the city.
While the main questions are open for everyone to answer, for residents who live close to the major ticketed events at Preston Park and Kemptown there are additional questions looking at some proposed changes that may impact those areas.
There are many considerations around events of this scale, so it is important that we listen to the views of as many people as possible. Through this survey and other engagement activities we will reach out to residents, businesses, hotels, visitors, residents and the LGBTQIA communities.

We want to hear your views on the impact of Brighton Pride events on the city. By better understanding how people in the city feel we can build on the positive aspects and mitigate some of the less positive experiences.
