Where should event profits go locally?

We want local communities to share in the benefits of events held across the city, and we’re looking at how to build this into future policy

We’re inviting ideas for local groups, projects or initiatives that could benefit from a bit of funding or extra support.

We’re also keen to hear about small, practical improvements that could help make everyday life a little better for people in the area. For example:

• new benches or seating in busy spots
• tools or equipment for local volunteers
• plants, seeds or materials for community gardening
• social groups or activities that bring people together
• improvements to green spaces or shared areas
• a new noticeboard or community information point
• playground upgrades

We’re especially interested in low-cost ideas that have a big impact and meet local needs.
