
Community walking groups
Walking isn’t just a way to get from A to B – it’s a great way to improve your physical and mental wellbeing, meet new people, and enjoy the green and coastal spaces across the city.
There are a variety of free and friendly walking groups, including weekly Health Walks and community-led walks.
We’d love to know how you would design a walking group. It could be:
- closer to home
- transport to the walking group’s start point
- a buddy to join the walk with
We’ll use this data to understand how we can set up new walking groups to meet local needs and offer different types of walking groups to suit everyone.
