A strategic environmental assessment (SEA) must be carried out during the preparation of a local plan.
The first stage of the SEA is called the Scoping Report. This sets out the context, objectives and approach of the SEA. It also identifies relevant environmental, economic and social issues and objectives for the plan area.
We have updated our SEA Scoping Report since the key issues stage. There is a question about the SEA Scoping Report at the end of the City Plan survey.
A hard copy is also available to view at Jubilee Library, Hove Library and Hove Town Hall.
We have produced a number of background evidence studies to inform the consultation.
These can be found on our website:
- Strategic Housing Market Assessment
- Green Infrastructure Study
- Employment Land Study
- Gypsy and Traveller Accommodation Needs Assessment
- Affordable Housing Viability Study
We have also produced a consultation statement where you can read a summary of the responses received during the key issues 2024/25 consultation.
