Tell us what you think about recent changes to Western Road

We've made some changes to the Western Road area to make the street a more attractive place to shop and spend time in, as well as make it easier for people travelling through.

We have:

• Simplified the road layout with a central strip provided to help with pedestrian crossing
• Improved pedestrian crossings
• Widened footways
• Added cycle parking, seating and tree planting
• Added a new loading bay on the north side of Western Road
• Added disabled parking bays to Spring Street and Crown Street
• New road and pavement surfacing
