Brighton Marina Neighbourhood Forum redesignation application
The Brighton Marina Neighbourhood Forum has submitted an application to the council asking to continue to be recognised as the neighbourhood forum for the Brighton Marina Neighbourhood Area.
A neighbourhood forum is a community-led organisation responsible for preparing a neighbourhood plan, which sets out planning policies to guide development in the area. No changes are proposed to the area’s boundary.
The forum was initially officially set up in 2015 and renewed on 3 November 2020. Neighbourhood forums must reapply every 5 years to continue their role.
Each forum must have at least 21 people who live or work in the area. The forum must submit a copy of their written constitution along with further details on the forum application form.
We officially approved the Brighton Marina Neighbourhood Plan created by the forum on 14 February 2025. Learn more about the Brighton Marina Neighbourhood Plan.
