Meeting Notes and Preston Park

Hello I have attended many community meetings in the past years but could not attend on July 18. Can I find the meeting notes on this forum?I was happy that the sound from the park events was not as loud this year but perhaps that was luck with the wind direction. I’m always astounded by the crew that our the production together 👏🏻I want to mention that there was no written info given to our house in Preston park Avenue. The signs on closures of roads was a bit confusing but the change in layout of the fence and entry gates was much appreciated. The park didn’t feel completely surrounded by steel. I do want to say that despite all the positives and history of the event this appears mostly to be a music concert. Many people coming for specific artists and not related to the protest origins of pride. Does this mean the park could be used for other types of music event in the future? I’m not suggesting it is but I do think this event isn’t as diverse as it once was and pop and commercial sponsors unrelated to Brighton are dominant which makes me question of the council plan on putting on more music events similar to those on the beach? Lastly has it ever been suggested that the park and community are given a rest year from the pride in the park events?
