Sat/Sun 16/17th -another breach of the licence.

Fred Corneby•3 weeks ago Its 00.11am Sunday morning and the music from Spiegelgardens is louder than ever.In case you're not aware of the condition in your own licence, music should be inaudible at the nearest noise receptor after 11pm.What are you doing about the constant breach of 'your' licence?

Another breach of Spiegelgardens

Fred Corneby•4 weeks ago Its 23.45pm and loud music can clearly be heard inside my home with windows closed over 150M away. Please explain why that is and what you're doing about previous breaches. Do you actually have Environmental Protection officers on site checking if the loud music is inaudible at the nearest home?

Live contact for Spiegelgardens

Fred Corneby•4 weeks ago You have still not provided a contact telephone number for Spiegelgardens as you said you would at residents meetings. You have also not responded to my earlier issue about the letter drop that should have gone out to residents homes. Please action both.Thank you.

Cherry picking who to reply to on this forum.

Fred Corneby•1 month ago Events Team. Can we get a fair and consistent approach to responding to issues raised on here. You seem to cherry pick who you want to reply to.Issues raised here are 'real time' issues and you need to respond and action. Can you also check your emails and respond. Thank you...

Sunday night, another breach from Spiegelgardens

Fred Corneby•1 month ago You stated...Thanks for raising this. We’ll be actively monitoring this tonight during the extended bank holiday hours to ensure the licence is fully complied with. Why is it 00.25 Monday morning and I can still hear the loud music some 150M away. If you were monitoring for compliance, you only need to cross the road to the nearest home to know youre in breach of your own license.

Resident information: Spiegelgardens

Fred Corneby•1 month ago Lizzie, the information letter does not provide a mobile telephone for 'live' contact as an issue is happening, it just gives a landline, residents were told there would be. Please can this be updated ASAP.

Spiegelgardens

Fred Corneby•1 month ago You licence clearly states....After 23-00hrs music should be inaudible inside the nearest noise sensitive receptor. Why is it at 23.20 its still thumping away? We're 150M away, its must be incredibly loud for those nearer. What is Environmental Protection doing about this? I know its a conflict for them but the cobditions a of the license must be upheld.

Opening night....

Fred Corneby•1 month ago The sound of music coming from Spiegelgardens is quite loud. I was reasonably confident with it at Victoria Gardens with the trees and the tall flats at Circus Street we'd be ok but we're not. Having visited Spiegelgardens an hour before they opened with just background music on, it was a nice environment. The stroke of 6pm the music became so loud with heavy bass that and I couldn't hear the lady I was as speaking with just 2tf in front of me. With an outside DJ, I doubt we'll get any respite during May. We certainly can't open our windows. Lets hope the volume can be lowered a bit.
