Repair Height Barrier for Roedean Car Park

Roedean Car Park is (or should be) a general car park for local people and Visitors to the City. The Metal Height barrier restricting the height of vehicles allowed to use this car park was broken at least 3 years ago. This has meant that White Vans and Mobile Homes have taken advantage of using this car park on a long term residential campsite basis - preventing local people and visitors from using it.
On asking to have the height barrier reinstated last year by presenting a Question to Full Council, I was told 'there is no money to do this'. Please can you use some of the available funds for our Ward to repair this Barrier and restore this car park to the people of Brighton and other short term visitors
