Hi Emma
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback . We are very sorry to hear that the noise levels affected your ability to relax at home. While we had anticipated a significant reduction in disruption this year following improvements to the audio set-up, we do recognise that it was still impactful.
We are also sorry to hear about the litter you witnessed around Adelaide Park and the surrounding areas. Responsibility for waste generated outside the event site falls with both the event organisers and the council, and we will ensure this is reviewed to help improve arrangements going forward.
Could you please let us know if litter in the area has not yet been fully cleared?
Your comments are helpful and will be shared with the event organisers as part of the post-event review, and recorded to help inform future planning for events in the area.
Excessive noise Hove Lawns 2 day music event 13 th and 14th June
From "Outdoor events forum"
Go to the project
The noise was excessive from early afternoon through to late night. It was impossible to relax at home as it was unrelenting, especially the dance music in Saturday. The lawns are too close to residential area. The rubbish outside the enclosure was unacceptable in Adelaide park and alcohol cans dropped by people listening from the park and going home after the event.
