Better support for Community Gardens
From "Where should event profits go locally?"
Go to the project
The Brighton & Hove Community Garden network have recently launched a month long programme of Garden Open Days across the city. This has been sponsored by Brighton & Hove Buses, at a cost to them of £350 and support and advertising on their website. Many of the gardens suffer from a lack of money and/or infrastructure. Could there be small pot of money that these gardens could access to help to buy plants, pay for liability insurance and/or access water supplies for the gardens where necessary.
