A small package of community-focused street improvements in the Fiveways area

To support both businesses and residents, they would like to explore the installation of:

• A community business notice board for local events, services, and neighbourhood information
• A public bench to provide seating, particularly for older residents and those less able to stand for long periods
• Seasonal hanging baskets to enhance the appearance of the area and create a more welcoming high street environment

Currently, there is no shared physical space for businesses and the community to communicate locally. A notice board would help promote local events, encourage people to shop locally, and strengthen neighbourhood identity. A bench would improve accessibility and inclusivity, while hanging baskets would contribute to civic pride and a greener, more attractive streetscape.
